The Copper River Conferencing Story

Copper River Conferencing was co-founded in 1995 by Adria Spain and Martin Hufham, initially to sell desktop ISDN-based video conferencing equipment. Ms. Spain reorganized Copper River Conferencing during 2001 into a full service conferencing provider, bringing to the business communications market a complete package of best-of-breed conferencing equipment and services.

Ms. Spain co-founded Copper River Conferencing in 1995 with Martin Hufham. She has an extensive background in marketing, sales, and advertising with more than 13 years experience. For the past seven years she has focused on the telecommunications industry, especially on audio, video, web and data conferencing. Her expertise and vendor relationships in this market have been key in allowing Copper River customers to enjoy the combination of best of breed products with unmatched service quality.
Martin O. Hufham Martin O. Hufham
Vice President and Chief Strategic Officer
Mr. Hufham brings a combined thirty-nine years experience in telecommunications, software, marketing, advertising and international sales. Co-founding Copper River Conferencing in 1995 with Adria Spain, he helped to pioneer the desktop video conferencing, defining and taking it from concept into reality. His ability to conceptualize the 40,000 foot view of marketing ideas along with "out of the box" concepts provides Copper River Conferencing a strategic advantage over standard conferencing market service providers. Mr. Hufham understands that markets are varied and unique, thus all have different requirements. This is why Copper River Conferencing has dedicated teams to define these vertical markets, "which helps our customers to fully utilize the services being offered. Today a simple phone call, tomorrow a new way of doing business." Mr. Hufham's entrepreneurial style and ability give Copper River Conferencing a cutting edge viewpoint into the future of conferencing.
Jeanne C. Cloward Jeanne C. Cloward
Vice President Sales and Marketing
Ms. Cloward joined Copper River Conferencing in 2002, bringing 20+ years experience in telecommunications, sales, sales management, marketing and business development. Her high tech sales background includes software and publishing, both online and print. She has extensive C-level business development credentials with major accounts like AT&T, Gateway, IBM and Dell. Her entrepreneurial strengths have helped pioneer numerous ventures, especially internationally. Her strengths in strategic planning, marketing, competitive analyses, and development of effective sales tools are focused on meeting the conferencing needs of Copper River Conferencing’s customers.
Adria H. Spain Lisa Caskey
CFO

Mrs. Caskey came to Copper River Conferencing in 2001 bringing a deep background in Accounting and Finance. In addition to her CFO role, she has been instrumental in conceiving and developing Copper River's web-hosted billing and invoice storage system. This is the unique accounting program that helps drive the customer-oriented priority billing systems, where clients can view their invoices on a secure on-line network and have the choice of paper or electronic billing. She continues to play a major role in the further development of customized accounting systems to benefit Copper River Conferencing's customers.
Bill Cloward William H. Cloward
CIO

Mr. Cloward, who joined Copper River in 2002, is a market-savvy technologist and strategist with 25+ years professional experience. A veteran entrepreneur, he has succeeded over the entire life cycle of computer-based systems and products in a career focused on "putting networks to work", optimizing the user experience and applying software and telecommunications technology to make sales happen. At Copper River, his hands-on leadership as CIO and webmaster is concentrated on the quality, reliability and maintainability of its automated systems in order to deliver maximum customer satisfaction.
